July 2014, Volume 13, Issue 7

Dear Reader,

We are back from a wonderful ALA Conference in Las Vegas. It was HOT – not just the weather either. The highlight of the Conference (for us) was the Newbery–Caldecott Awards Banquet and the Schneider Family Book Award Luncheon. You'll see more about the Schneider Family Book Award in an article below.

It's been over a year since we redesigned the CLCD User Interface. What a great year it's been! We thank you all for your continued support, feedback and friendship. It's also time to update the CLCD Newsletter. This is a tough one for us – as it's essentially how we came into being some 15 years ago. What started as a Newsletter of Children's Literature Reviews has blossomed into two companies. And, CLCD has become the premier independent online resource for information about Children's and Young Adult Literature. It's used by thousands of individual sites and hundreds of thousands of users. One Source, One Search - for the Best of the Best in Children's and Young Adult Literature!

In the coming months you'll see some changes. We're experimenting with the format, platform and method(s) of delivery and hope you'll appreciate the changes. We also want your input! We write these articles for YOU. So, let us know what YOU'D like to see.. and how you'd like to see it.

Vice President - Sales and Marketing, CLCD

These are exciting features!
